Dr. Laura Ahlgrim, DVM
Dr. Laura Ahlgrim graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis in 2011. She has 13 years of experience exclusively in veterinary emergency and critical care within the Seattle area. Her goals are to improve the availability of emergency care within the community, improve the pay/benefits of the veterinary support staff, and to keep emergency medicine fun and exciting for her team. Her favorite cases involve emergency surgery, toxicities, and geriatric patients.

Dr. Chris Bailey, DVM
Dr. Chris Bailey graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2014. Following six years working in a variety of multi-specialty veterinary hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest, he moved and became the owner and sole director of Idaho Falls Veterinary Emergency Clinic. After spending three years in Idaho creating a successful and busy emergency hospital, he opted to move back to Puget Sound to help open TVES. He has a strong interest in transfusion medicine, emergency surgery, and feline lower urinary tract disorders.

Dr. Spencer Burnett, DVM
Dr. Spencer Burnett graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 and from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. After completing an internship, he has spent the past several years practicing emergency medicine all over the West Coast — from Southern California to Vancouver, BC — before settling back in Seattle. He has a particular interest in surgery and cardiology.

Dr. Beth Davidow, DVM (Diplomate ACVECC)
Dr. Beth Davidow graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1995. After working in both emergency and primary care practices in Seattle for several years, she pursued a residency in emergency and critical care at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital in Portland and became board certified in 2002. She and a partner co-founded a multi-specialty and emergency hospital in Seattle in 2003, an animal blood bank, and a second hospital in Renton in 2010, which she helped managed for 13 years. For several years, Dr. Davidow was on faculty at Washington State University in the emergency and critical care department.
She missed private practice and is excited to have opened TVES. Dr. Davidow is currently the president of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and blogs at The Veterinary Idealist. Her interests include transfusion medicine, toxicology, hematology, urinary tract disorders, and safety culture. A list of Dr. Davidow's publications can be found on PubMed.

Dr. Kristen Davignon, DVM
Dr. Kristen Davignon graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. She worked in primary care for a few years and then moved into emergency medicine, all in the Seattle area. Dr. Davignon thrives on a busy day in the emergency room and enjoys critical care medicine cases and surgery.

Dr. Sarah Falk, DVM
Dr. Sarah Falk graduated from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Since graduation, she has been practicing veterinary medicine with the US Government overseas. She has returned to the PNW and is excited to join our team to practice emergency medicine. Dr. Falk has a special interest in trauma and wound care. When she is not working at Timberline, Dr. Falk enjoys volunteering at the Doney Coe Pet Clinic, playing rugby, and exploring the area with her tripod, Loki.

Dr. Amanda Karch, DVM
Dr. Amanda Karch graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Wisconsin University. She completed an emergency and critical care internship at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center. She has spent her career working in veterinary emergency and critical care, both in Wisconsin and the Seattle area. Dr. Karch enjoys polytrauma, endocrine emergencies, and auto-immune disorders.

Dr. Nidhi Menon, DVM
Dr. Nidhi Menon graduated from North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She did an internship at Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. She has spent her career working in veterinary emergency and critical care both in the Seattle area and in the Northeastern United States. Dr. Menon especially enjoys treating endocrine conditions and polytrauma, and she finds it fulfilling to help pet owners during emergent situations.

Dr. Anastasia Olsen, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS (Small Animal)
Dr. Anastasia Olsen attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated summa cum laude in 2011. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center, a surgical internship at the University of Missouri, and a canine sports medicine research internship at Colorado State University with emphasis on osteoarthritis and stem cell therapy in dogs.
Dr. Olsen then pursued a small animal surgical residency at Purdue University and completed a three-year master of science program. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2021. Dr. Olsen performs both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Some of her specific interests include elective orthopedic procedures, head/ear soft tissue surgeries, urogenital/perianal surgery, and surgical oncology. Outside of work, Dr. Olsen enjoys spe`nding time with her husband and four cats, hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, and traveling abroad.

Dr. Tonia Rushing, DVM
Dr. Tonia Rushing graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2016. After completing an emergency internship at a Specialty and Emergency hospital in Kansas City, she continued to work in emergency medicine in that area until she moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2020. Dr. Rushing has spent the past four years working in Emergency and Critical Care medicine for her community. She truly enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and has a special interest in toxicology and polytraumas.

Dr. Jennifer Waldrop, DVM (Diplomate ACVECC)
Dr. Jennifer Waldrop graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After an internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA, and a year of ER practice in San Jose, CA, she pursued an Emergency and Critical Care residency at Tufts University. Dr. Waldrop was board certified in 2003 by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and practiced at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital where she also participated in hospital management and the education department. Dr. Waldrop moved to Seattle in 2012 and has worked at multiple large specialty hospitals in the area. Dr. Waldrop enjoys teaching and staff development and has special interest in endocrine emergencies, GI, and respiratory diseases.

Kim Moore, BSN, CVPM - Hospital Administrator
Kim Moore began working in the veterinary industry in 1995 while completing her BS in Nursing from the University of Washington. She found her passion in veterinary medicine and in 2001, obtained her Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management from Purdue University. To further her professional development, she earned the designation of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) in 2006. She has since been an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), where she has volunteered as a member of the Education and Programming Advisory Group and is currently serving on the VHMA Board of Directors as Treasurer. Kim is thrilled to have been invited to be part of the founding team at TVES and work with such a talented group of professionals. Some of her special interests include education, coaching, leadership, strategic planning, mentoring, working with diverse teams, and promoting the success of individual team members.

Roy Brock, MBA - Hospital Finance and Operations Director
Roy Brock brings more than 25 years of experience in private business and higher education. He worked for 11 years at a 24/7 emergency and specialty practice in Seattle as the Business Operations Manager and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he served as the Dean of Administration for Vermont State University, managing all administrative, finance, and operations functions for a 2-campus system. Roy’s areas of expertise include finance, facilities, administration, contracting, and employee and organization development. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University and his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Regis University.
